HOW TO USE

We've put together a few simple steps to help you get the best out of One Step 250ml highlighting what you should be doing to get the most out of One Step 250ml when detailing your pride and joy.

  1. First, you’ll need to ensure the vehicle is thoroughly clean and free from contaminates. Perform a comprehensive wash and decontamination, before drying completely.
  2. Mask up any rubber, plastic trim or window surrounds.
  3. After attaching to a DPX Dual Action Polisher, lubricate a Revitalise No:2 Pad (medium foam) with a spritz of Pad Prime, and then apply 2-3 pea sized drops of One Step.
  4. Set your DPX to the no.1 speed setting, apply to the paintwork and make a quick pass over an approximate 2ft square area. This will ensure an even spread of compound.
  5. Now set the DPX to speed no.4 and begin to work in. It’s best to use a crosshatch motion (snake downwards over the area left to right, and then right to left) with a light amount of downward pressure. Make two slow, overlapping passes of the entire area, working for around 5-minutes until the product turns clear.
  6. Remove the pad and clean away any excess product with a brush or compressed air.
  7. Return to the panel, set your DPX to speed setting no.3, and repeat the process for another two passes. This will ensure that the compound fully breaks down.
  8. Buff away the One Step to reveal the final finish. This is the true finish as One Step contains no fillers.
  9. For best results, check with a light source and repeat if necessary.
